Conwy, Gwynedd

Conwy is a medieval town with great historic links to the conflict between Wales and England. Edward 1st built Conwy castle as one of the fortresses to keep the Welsh subdued. It developed into a walled town as it stands today. It has a beautiful Harbour and Marina and stands at the head of the most beautiful valley in North Wales, The Conwy Valley. The town offers good restaurants, pubs, tourist attractions and shops.
