Family-run park alongside the River Thames, ideal for Legoland Windsor, Henley, Oxford and London. Tourers, tents and motorhomes welcome. Caravan Holiday Homes and ReadyTents for hire. New children's trim trail!
We are a family-run and pet-friendly park in the heart of the Home Counties on the south bank of the River Thames in the picturesque village of Hurley. Located between the riverside towns of Henley-on-Thames and Marlow we are an ideal location for families and couples to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Thames Valley and Ashley Hill Forest.
Alternatively we are ideal for visiting the wide variety of attractions that South East England has to offer including LEGOLAND Windsor, which is only 11 miles away.
We have a kilometre of river bank for picnics and recreation and our Nature Trail is very popular with our younger guests. Walking the Thames Path to Marlow or Henley-on-Thames is also a popular activity for our guests. We have also installed a new children's trim trail in the play area.
We have featured on television a number of times, including Gino D'Acampo's Campsite Cookout on ITV (click here for the video), George Clarke's Amazing Spaces on Channel 4 and a number of TV dramas including Midsomer Murders and Bert and Dickie.
Four generations of the Burfitt family have been welcoming guests to our park for over forty years. We offer a happy family-friendly atmosphere and so only accept bookings from families and couples. We are proud that many of our guests return year after year and recommend us to family and friends. In fact some of our guests who visited us as children now bring their own grandchildren!
We pride ourselves on our well-kept grounds and the Park is maintained in keeping with the natural environment. Trees, hedges, wildflowers and nesting boxes are home to a wide variety of wildlife. We feel that our biggest strengths are our superb, practical facilities and the peace and quiet of an unspoilt natural environment.
Our shower blocks all have eco-pneumatic showers and taps and are part-powered by solar heating and air-sourced eat pumps. There are several recycling points around the park and we have our own bore-hole and water treatment plant.
Wildlife is adundant around us including a number of red kites who live nearby. The winning photo in our 2011 photographic competition was this stunning photo of a red kite perching in one of our trees!
