Newfield Hall is a grand stately home dating from the 1850s. With its impressive entrance hall and elegant lounges it retains its Victorian charm. With an enviable location, close to Malham Cove and surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, it’s not surprising that many of our guests return year after year. Today the building has been extensively modernised to suit the needs of modern visitors. We offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, an indoor swimming pool, fabulous food and spacious lounges to relax in.

Newfield Hall is a great base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Our Country House enjoys a splendid setting surrounded by green rolling countryside.

There are many ways to enjoy the great outdoors in the Dales. Walkers will love the outstanding range of paths on the doorstep, including the Pennine Way which passes the bottom of our drive on its way to Malham. Cyclists can enjoy the quiet country lanes, or off-road tracks, while climbers are spoilt with a huge choice of limestone crags.

If you want to take things at a more leisurely pace there are also a huge range of places to visit within easy reach. Your visits could include White Scar Cave, Skipton Castle or the Brontë Parsonage at Haworth. Further afield are Harrogate and York.
